May 23, 2013 - Extra Meeting: Lillian ChenSwarovski Ambassador Lillian Chen, an acclaimed wireworker, is going to be in Toronto and is very excited to be available to give a special presentation to the Toronto Bead Society on May 23, 2013 at Ryerson. We won't be in our usual room -- make sure you go to the LIB 72 lecture hall (see below for directions.) Lillian will give a presentation featuring the development of her design aesthetic and will showcase her special approach to working with wire and her unique pieces made with unique materials, all combined with Swarovski Elements.

Members can sign up for half a table. If you have beads in your stash you haven’t used and likely won’t, here’s your opportunity to get them into the hands of a loving new owner who will give them a new home and purpose. Oh, and get rid of those old back issues of magazines, books or other beading-related items. Vendors must sell at bargain prices. Non-members are welcome but will be charged an entrance fee of $10. The increased entrance fee is for the June meeting only to help cover the cost of the food and refreshments provided by the TBS as a thank you to our members. Upcoming Events
